Thanks for the info man. I wasn’t too sure about the creole thing I guess. Have you heard the whole album? It’s pretty good in my mind. I like the mixture of kuduro with other electronic sounds.

Totally agree with you…Kuduro is an amazing sound! Just want to point out though that there is no Portuguese creole spoken in either Brazil or Angola, and both Kuduro and Baile Funk are usually sung in Portuguese (even if they use really heavy local accents and lots of slang), although Kuduro is sometimes partly sung in Kimbundu, the main local language (other than Portuguese) in Luanda, Angola. As for lyrics, I don’t think they’ve been published, since they seem to be impossible to find…hopefully somebody’ll figure it out!

Me say Jr Gong is the bomb! Kymani showed me a longing life to be lived by the righteous in the movie ‘Shottas’. The part when he was returning to Jamaica from the US, at the airport- what he did by throwing away his papers and still live a nice life. Shows that we dont have to live by them white man’s papers but through HIM.

i’m tough on ky-mani because he did that accent thing in shottas where he would speak american style and then in patois and back and forth and it was just not realistic.
